How do I set up my own cron jobs? I want to do this for a backup procedure. I asked a couple of weeks ago about backup procedures and I think a cron job is good way to go so that I don't forget to back stuff up.

Basically I want to copy the contents of say 'Folder A' in Documents to my 256MB flash drive conected to my PB via USB each Monday at 7:30am. How would I do this? I have experience with Perl but not so far as cron jobs.

    Thanx in advance,
    inlimbo...

    cron

i haven't used cron in mac osx but i use it in linux , you write a shell script to do what ever you want (cp x x) and then you tell cron when you execute it, it's very easy to set the rules, search for the cron guide in the user guide, also you can use Cronnix which gives you a gui for cron in case you don't like the terminal
