How to STOP junk mail like "something for you" etc....

    hi.....

    does anyone know how to stop receiving mail like:

    "something for you"
    "Document"
    "Re: Sample"
    and so on.....

    i often receive: "Mail delivery failure: blablablab" like I've sent other junk mails...but I haven't............

    well..so..how can i stop it???!

    in mail u can specify rules

    or you can just accept emails from ppl on ur adress book

    sounds like you've ended up on a commercial email list. They're probably spoofing your address to make it look like you're the one sending the junk mail. There's not much you can do once you're on that CD, except changing your email, or use another one when registering for things.

    many email programs let you set up rules or filters. you can set up a rule that automatically junks messages that claim they're coming from your email, which will take care of spam that spoofs your return address.

    use the filter rules

    if the sender is not in your address book > separate folder which you go threu once a week.

    if the message contains 'unsubscribe' > trash

    etc
