How to swap your notebook battery without using a power adap...

    How is this news? I was doing this with my original PowerBook G4 (400 Mhz!) back at the beginning of 2001.

    yeah i already knew about this also. but i guess newer mac owners will be grateful of this info

    I never thought about it before, but I guess the RAM-to-HD thing means Apple laptops no longer need a secondary battery. Past Apple laptops could actually power sleep mode for a minute or so with no battery in, using a tiny internal secondary battery.

    I like the new system better: it saves you if your battery drains while asleep.
