i have 15" inch 2.16 ghz macbook pro and i was wondering how well quake 4 will run?
I have the demo but it wont let me dl the 1.2 patch(which runs better on intel macs) on a demo.
on another note, i downloaded the demo for doom 3 and it runs like crap...
i dont believe this is universal there a patch for this also?

Im more into console games, but i paid like 300 dollars more for the 256 graphics card...might as well have something to show it off...

It'll run great with the default settings and you should be able to push it just a tad higher than the defaults. BTW, the Quake 4 demo is a universal binary, so you're getting the native performance. I'm not sure about the SMP option though (please check in Settings, then click on Advanced and see if there is an SMP option). If you have that, set it to yes and give it a run with that. It runs great on my Dads 2.1 Ghz Macbook Pro, so it should be great on yours too.

The Doom 3 demo doesn't have a UB patch, not sure if Aspyr will release one or not.

The Quake 4 patch allows for SMP.
