With the Finder as your active app, from the menu go to "Go > Go to folder > /etc/httpd"

Use Terminal or try this site...

    Hi,
You may need to access the httpd.conf file using the terminal app as you may not be able to access files in the /etc/httpd directory via the finder.

However, I'm not sure which PHP installer your trying to use but I would recommend using the installers found on Marc Liyanage's site, www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/

    Hope that helps,

    Rick
