It says it uses Panasonic battery cells, which drew me to this product.
Anker is also a pretty big and reliable name. I'm using one of their other products (USB power converter), and it's been great for over a year now.

Anker are a pretty good bet, had a few different ones over the years without issues. They have a wide range of sizes and capacities to suit your needs. Currently using one of the 10000mah ones which is super small despite it's ability to charge my iPhone a couple of times at least.
I'd second Anker. I have bought maybe 5-6 battery packs from their small lipstick batteries to their huge 20,000mAh batteries and I'm happy with them. Really good customer service too. I've had issues with a product and they would be quick to send a replacement after a day or two of getting a response from them. Just make sure you keep the serial number of any anker product as they like to ask for that when inquiring about an exchange.

This may be slightly off topic, and apologies in advance if it is, but in talking about battery packs like this, I have to ask - how safe are devices like these in your opinions? Now I know next to nothing about li-ion battery tech so this may be a dumb question, haha, but all this Samsung business has really freaked me out and I've been putting off buying a battery because of it actually. I know I'm probably just being paranoid, but if you guys have any knowledge about how safe these types of battery packs are I'd love to know!

Exactly what I was going to post. My wife and I have 4 different sized batteries, and all work with no problems.

My brother has had good success with his Amazon Basics 16,100 mAh power bank, while I've really liked my Anker PowerCore 20100 mAh power bank. Both have worked excellently, are really light and easy to carry around.

Also +1 from mophie from me. Their units have very nice designs and complement the iPhone quite nicely.
I use an Anker 12000mAh to charge my phone a lot. Used it this morning and if you look at the photos you will see how fast it will charge.
From 8%-33% was with the phone locked and then to 100% I was using the phone most of the time.

Another thing to remember also is that if a phone has a 2000mAh and you buy a 10,000mAh battery bank you won't get 5 compleat charges from it. They hold about 85-90% of their stated capacity.

Anker has excellent support. I got one that had a small ding in the plastic near the charging port, they sent a replacement overnight FedEx plus a gift certificate.
