    1) What was your other computer?
    2) What does the installation ReadMe file or instructions that came with the C7C CD say?

Sorry if this is a dumb question for you, but is it a hybrid (mac/windows) cd or are you attempting to play within windows?

An intel processor does NOT mean that Windows software will run without windows.

You're still going to need Windows to play your Windows games. Oh and make it a legal copy too.

University most likely. At IU, Windows is 5 dollars, Office is like 10, VPC is a free download.

    Back to the original question:
The game doesn't install because it is a Windows game and you are running Mac OS X.
You need Mac software for the Mac.
You CAN install Windows on the newest Macs, which as discussed above, requires BootCamp from Apple (free) plus a legal disk of Windows XP Service Pack 2. This then gives you the choice of booting the machine in OSX OR in Windows (but not both at once - a restart is required to switch). Then you can install Windows games, but only when you have booted under Windows.

DMW - I know you know -- but for the benefit of others: The software sold by Universities is for use by their students only while they attend that University. It is part of a site license purchased by the Uni. from the software company. Therefore, these disks may NOT be sold or given away to any other person, and in theory have to be deinstalled /destroyed when the student leaves school. The University is NOT selling you a license, they are granting you the right to use one 'seat' of their license while you attend.

I got my copy of XP Pro for FREE!!! 100% legal through my school. They give it to certian majors for free, you just have to pay for the CD-R to burn the image to (it's downloadable). I think we also get Windows 2003 Server for free.
