Samsung is not the only these days lol..
Holey moley... They're not even trying to be discrete. I'm surprised Apple hasn't patented the 'look' of keynotes.
Of they use keynote to make the presentations, I'm sure its completely legal. I can make a presentation for a pen that looks exactly like an iPad one!
New Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 uses a proprietary 30-pin connector for charging and connectivity, which is centrally placed at the bottom of the tablet lol..
Apple didn't invent the 30 pin
Has apple won in the court?
Why don't manufacturers use USB 3 these days
What do you mean? On the 30 pin? We may see USB 3 on the new 9 pin, but USB 3 is still in its infancy. Most computers don't yet have USB 3, and the average consumer doesn't even know the difference
yes . 1 billion bill will come to Samsung
Be on the lookout sometime after October when Samsung will announce the Tab 10.2 with brand new mini 9-pin "s-Port"
Because the 30 pin has more functionality. If you need to move 32-64GB of data to you iToy do it overnight while you sleep.
jeans and a black shirt
Lol.. He needs a black turtleneck
Meh Tim Cook style is the new 8 mega pixle..Turtlenecks and Mocks are sooo 5 mega pixle.
The USB 3 'micro' connector is only about 1/3 smaller than the 30-pin cables in question. (This is also part of why Apple went with the new 'Lightning' connector design.)
The flash memory in the devices is still slower than USB 2.0 speeds, so the added expense and complexity of USB 3 simply isn't worth it.
The pin-size on the USB 3 (and USB 2.0) micro connector doesn't allow for as much juice to be transferred as quickly when charging. (Another reason why the dynamically configurable 'Lightning' connector was chosen instead of USB 2.0 micro.)
