So a cop pulls over a person driving a Pontiac G8 GT. The cop thinks the taillights are illegal. Ok, simple mistake and he went to court to fight it and won right? Well, you would be wrong. The judge says the taillights are illegal no matter what the DOT says, the federal government says, or the manufacture says. That the driver would be fined until he sold his car.

I smell a lawsuit. Or at the very least, an appeal.

I would think that would be grounds for a judge to be dismissed.

the "If the cop said they're illegal, then they're illegal" bit alone would suggest the judge's law degree isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

Scares the heck out of me that we have judges out there that aren't even aware how our government works.
