I own my first mac for a week now, and tonight I fell in love with OS X. What a great OS.

hey i loved it before you! :p

im guessing your a switcher. Congrats on the switch! :D

Out of interest, what makes the OS so much more appealing than what you were using before?

Isn't it though? So easy to use, so stylish, hey-I should be a spokesperson! Seriously, though, glad to hear that you love it.

Chances are he is/was a Windows user... so that pretty much sums it up right there. :D

I've clocked up about 5 days of OS X usage so far and also love it.

    I love you, too! ;)

    Yay! It's the best!

I remember the first time I used OS X. Good old 10.0.0 beta. It was really awkward, after using Mac OS 7, 8 and 9. :)

Oh, I second that. I replaced command + space with quicksilver and I've never looked back. It seems faster than spotlight, too.

Yup. Spotlight is rarely used on my PB now.

    I love you too

I had that too. You love the system. My lecturer pointed out that PC users call their computers "a machine" where a mac has a personalised name, or it's brand name, and can be referred to as "she".
The honeymoon wore off though. It's great. I could never go back to PC without feeling sad inside. I get magic boosts every time Apple launch a new OS though.

The wife is having a hard time as she hates technology changes - workflow changes. But I even caught her doing a doubletake when I explained over the phone in about 30 seconds how to burn a CD out of iTunes...ha ha, she'll be over from the darkside soon too!

    I'm glad you like it.

I'll never be able to experience the switch feeling, as I've been on a Mac always.

Been on 'em before PPC :D.
