1. Wi-Fi battery life. how long? would it last 4~5 hrs?
2. any chance to run 3rd party app natively?
3. is there a file browsers? So i can launch videos, musics like on a computer?
4. USB storage mode? or ITMS is mandatory?

Well we do know that itms is going to be required as apple won't let you use anything else. There might be a hack of so sort but out of the box will require itms.

3 & 4 are sort of a combined thing. You'll need iTunes (not the iTunes Music Store or iTMS, though) to sync music/videos/photos up to it that you want to play or watch; you'll still (as current iPods) be able to use it as a USB storage disk just for storing files, though.
