    Hey all,
Sometimes when my ibook is plugged in when I touch the track pad or the area between the trackpad and the space key it gives me a small shock. Most days it doesnt happe but some days it happens a lot like every 30 mins or so. Also some times when I plug in the powercord I notice a small spark, I dont know if it is relevant but I mention it just in case.
What I want to know is, does this only happen to me or other ibook users as well, any solution to this proble, would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Its only static electricity it won't hurt your computer(although I heard of someones which shut down because of it) its an idea to grab something earthed(waterpipe, radiator other electrical appliance etc) before touching computer as this will discharge it(bare metal).Carpets with a high nylon content are notorious for this also some buildings that are metal sheathed.
By the way earthed= grounded for septics.
