Yeah, because a friend of mine has an iBook that they are going to give to me, and its doing what is described in Apples Extended Logic Board Repair Program, but I wonder if they will still repair it, since the page hasnt been updated since 12/04. o_O

I am quite sure that you will be out of luck, but it doesn't hurt anything to try.

Do you have, or have access to the original receipt ?

I just got a used ibook and was wondering the same thing. Will they replace the board with no receipt? How do I know that the one I have has had the replacement?
Also, what are the symptoms of a bad board?

Well I check the Apple site and it says that extended warranty expire in March of 05. I wonder if they extended it.
