i only have my 14" 1.25 gHz ibook g4 for about 2 months..
it was running fine. and i was glad i switched to mac...

    but then...

something must have happened to it ... the hard drive starts to make this clicking noise...like an old pc.. when it processes something like starting up programs...

do you think if i take it to apple store they will change it for me?

    thank you for help..

    Pete

Since you have a one year warranty they will replace the drive free of charge. Just make sure you back up your data first before you have the drive replaced. Also it would be a good idea to take AppleCare which gives you another 2 years of warranty coverage.

Couldn't have said it better myself. AppleCare is good for laptops due to the number of times they move around and greater chance for manufacture's defect to wreck the computer. For a desktop, not so important.
