My iBook's logic board just died yesterday. Well, it's acutally still living (I can see the screen sometimes, but tapping the left or right wrist pad will cause the screen to flicker and freeze.) It's the first time I've had an Apple product go sour on me, and I'm not happy at all (Actually, my iPod head phones died, and an AC adapter also died, but those were minor compared to this.) Anyway, I've got in in FireWire target disk mode to get all my junk off it, is there anything else I should/could do before sending it off to Apple for repair? Re the iTMS, I live in Japan so I don't have to worry about de-authorizing anything. I'm wondering if they're gonna dig through my drive, or reformat it or what. Thanks for any advice. Oh yeah, as a side note: how many other people here have had to have their logic boards replaced? How many times? Thanks again!
