    Specs: IBOOK G3- 10.3
ISSUE: At random times, it seems the cursor is confined to small areas of the screen when using the touchpad. When I hook up a mouse, it's find.
When I disconnect the battery then reboot, it works. The problem shows up randomly. Any one heard of this, yet know a solution?
    Any help helps:)

While there could be a problem with your trackpad, it could also be getting confused.

I've found that even the tiniest bit of water or sweat on the trackpad will make it almost non-functional. Try cleaning it off with a dry cloth, then seeing what happens.

Also, you can reset the track pad by holding your palm over it for five seconds. :)
