Okay, this is probably a stupid question but I have no experience with icons in X. I'm trying to copy a few icons into Appleworks, but at full scale, and it only pastes them at the scale they're displayed at in the "Get Info" window...

Obviously it must copy them at a full resolution, because you can paste them on other files in the Finder, they're full res there.

What am i missing?

Thanks!

Do they lose resolution when you try to resize them in Appleworks? If you tried to resize them, it might work. That's probably all the Finder does when you resize the icons. PS I finally upgraded to Jaguar.

i think that when you copy an icon from the get info window it's copying the .icns file (or whatever format X uses for icons).

it's probably easier to just make the icons 128x128 in a Finder window and the take a screenshot.

good luck.:)
