Idea for a watch face

I think it would be awesome to have a Music watch face.

The watch face itself would display album art of whatever song you are playing (black if none)
Analog hands would be layered over the album art for the time indicators.

Custom complication:

The 9 o'clock position would have a <previous track> button
The 3 o'clock position would have a <next track> button
The 6 o'clock position would display track information as a scrolling marquee
Tapping the center of the album art would pause the track.


Thoughts?

Legibility would be too big a challenge. The dial elements would have to change on the fly to contrast with whatever album art lies underneath. Thats a CPU/battery hog.

You would need white clock/buttons/text graphics on AC/DC Back in Black, black clock/buttons/text graphics on The Beatles White Album, and red or blue or something else for an album like this...

Things would get mighty ugly mighty fast, or totally illegible.

I really like Armen's idea, but unfortunately, mcdj is right about the contrast problem.

If contrasting would be a problem at least they should give us some music control complications on a specific watch face. Kind of like how Chronograph links directly to the stop watch.

I agree that it would be hard to pull this off with such a small screen, but it would be nice to have a watch face that allowed you to control your music.

How about reading the time, weather, activity? ;-)
