    Hi.

    Just playing around with iDisk.

I'm able to copy files up there, but not sure how to get them from another computer. Are you not able to just use IE from a windows machine and dl your files, etc? I didnt want to have to install any iDisk utilities on this machine. I searched through help, but all seems to refer to installing utilities. Whenever I go to my .mac account and click on iDisk, I just get the help/info page.....nothing that shows my folder, or public folder, or anything.

Any help or links would be appreciated. :)

The answer to your question is on the .mac website.

    Uh...

How did you get to be a Demi-God without this sort of knowledge?

In order to access your iDisk's full capabilities, you must install the software on your computer.

If all you want to do is access files, just save them in your public folder (on the iDisk), make sure it's posted on your home page and you can download to your heart's content.

How else does one get a "position of power"? The person paid for it. All being a "Demi-God" on MacRumors means is that the perosn paid money to help support the site.

Being a Demi-God requires little to no intelligence at all. ;)

I havent bothered to use iDisk yet, and was having some trouble(I've only had a mac for a couple of months). I did read the docs, but it wasnt working. Just thought I would post a question to speed things along.

    Thanks for your help.
