I have a 667mhz Pbook but it doesn't come with the superdrive and as you may know I can't "update" just the drive. I want to use idvd and was hoping I could find a solution without buying a whole new system. Does anyone know of an external drive that is compatible with idvd. I know there have been "patches" out there but they no longer work when a new version of idvd comes out.

Any thoughts on if I should go with a external dvd burner and just get some other dvd authoring app. or have a separate company upgrade the pbook with an internal burner?

Thanks for your help.
