OK, so if mc donalds gets mad cow disease in some of its meat then it is its fault, no Id blame it on the farmer and the butcher.

If Apple actually manufactured the hardware, it might be worth a higher price. But Apple would probably outsource to Elbonia and still put high price tags on the cheap products. I buy domestically-manufactured cables from a local computer store. The prices and warranty are good, and I don't get broken cables that need to be replaced every few months. :)
