I was continuing to play with the idea that iOS 7's home screen would be simply a subtle update to keep with familiarity. I was wondering what you guys thought about these concepts.

These concepts play into the whole Sensors Behind Screen patent, so the camera and other sensors are behind the screen.

    Dock Icons:

    Home Screen:

    Lock Screen:

    Notification Center:

With the lockscreen, the fingerprint scanner would sit behind the screen, too. I haven't visually indicated it yet, but I wanted to see what you guys thought about the look.

You know what I like here more then anything? The edge to edge screen!

Too impractical to ever actually happen though

Sorry, this is nowhere near what we will see.

I agree to some extent. It's just, I actually find myself not touching the screen with the hand I hold it with. Do you think that with their finger detection system they could do something like this screen though? The edge to edge is so mouthwatering. :)

The iPhone 5S (6?!) looks absolutely awesome, and I quite like the iOS 7 concept. Lockscreen looks a bit morbid, though. All black!

I agree, the lock screen shouldn't be black.

I think he got the shape of the iPhone right.

Learn to read, it clearly states if iOS 7 was a subtle redesign.

I can read. What the OP posted is simply way off.

Most of these "concepts" are way off - they're what people design, which end up being android/jailbreak themes, as Apple don't want to be the next Samsung TouchWiz, not ever!
