...who would you vote for? Would you vote for Bush or Kerry anyway, or would you vote for a third party candidate, such as Ralph Nader or Michael Badnarik? Or would you vote for someone completely different?

To put it another way, is there anyone you actually would want as President?

Me, I'd vote for Ron Paul, head of the Liberty Caucus in Congress and former Libertarian Party presidential candidate.

In 2000 I was a McCain supporter, I still think he would have made a good president.

Out of all the people that ran this year, I think my favorites were Dennis Kucinich and Howard Dean.

I think I'd vote the religious nutball ticket for a change of pace -- Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton.

As part of a class project last year, we were supposed to make campaigns for all the Democratic candidates. The girl who got Al Sharpton was like, "How do I make a campaign for him? What would the slogan be? 'Al Sharpton for President - No, Seriously'" It was pretty classic.

If Bill Clinton were running, I'd vote for him. I know this is not possible due to restrictions on terms, but neither is the premise of this thread (although I do really like the thread).

Other people that I'd Vote into the White House:
    John McCain (R-Senator, Arizona)
    Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-Governer, California)
Rudy Giuliani (Former R-Mayor, New York City
    John Edwards (D-Senator, North Carolina)
    Joseph Byden (D-Senator, Delaware)
    Christopher Dodd (D-Senator, Connecticut)
    Bill Mahr (TV Personality)
    Donald Trump (Billionaire)

People I'd like to see in the Presidential Cabinet or in Congress, but not President:
    Ron Paul (I-Presidential Canidate)
    Michael Badnarik (I-Presidential Candidate)
    Al Sharpton (Former D-Presidential Canidate)
    Howard Dean (Former D-Governer, Vermont)
    Bill O'Reilly (TV Personality)
    Ralph Nadar (I-Presidential Candidate)
    Dennis Kucinich (D-Representative, Ohio)
    Steve Jobs (CEO-Apple Computer, Pixar)

Also, I'd love to see a ticket where there was either an Independent at the top, or a mix of parties (ie: McCain/Dodd). Untlmately, I want a uniter, who is progressive, socially liberal, fiscally responsible, and charismatic. Neither Bush or Kerry get all of those. Ralph Nadar isn't perfect, but is closer to being my ideal candidate. But nonetheless, I most likely will vote for Kerry to at least get some of what I think we need to do done, and the rest will eventually come later, which is good enough for me.

^little correction there, Ron Paul was Libertarian, is now a Republican, and Badnarik is a Libertarian. Neither are independants :).

    Secretary of Defense Sam Nunn

So how do we set that ticket up? :)
