I'd just like to say thanks to anyone who voted for the candidate they really wanted, regardless of party. This "thank you" extends to anyone who voted across party lines for federal, state or local officials.

Though I'm registered as a Democrat, I don't hesitate to vote Republican if I see someone I like. In yesterday's election, I voted for both Democrats and Republicans, as well as a Libertarian.

So, if you took the time to read up on the candidates' views rather than just sticking with your party, thanks.

I voted for a Republican Tuesday for the first time in my life, and I've never missed a general election. He won.

I voted Democrat, Republican and Libertarian. For some, I voted for the people whom I felt would do the best job, for others, I wasn't sure of their stance, and it was random (hey, I can't know the stance of joe so-and-so on the local college board ).
