    " Apple Computer (make that Apple Inc. now) deliberately counterscheduled its annual MacWorld Expo -- and its important new product announcement -- directly against the Consumer Electronics Show, the world's biggest consumer-electronics convention."

    Does Apple actually schedule the event? I thought another company was in charge and that's why Apple had been trying to move away from announcing big products on a schedule they couldn't control - thus all the "Special Event". Sure Apple could have hosted another for the iphone, but why if they were ready. . .

    Actually I thought that CES was moved up by one week, to give people more slack from the holiday period...
