If you go to the apple store for education they have a special deal, for $15 you get both iLife and Keynote.

I used it to get the programs ( my mom is a teacher) and they came in about a week after I put in the order.

yeah, but don't get anyone's hopes up, they send it directly to the school you work at so it would be tough to workout unless you know a teacher or have a relative...

But what about the UK! The UK Apple Store for Education does not seem to have this offer. Which is a shame as both my parents are teachers and could take advantage of this. It would also help me sell them a Mac over a Windows PC next time they buy a PC (although my Mum needs to be able to run specialist PC only software at full speed).

TELL ME ABOUT IT! my friend is off to the states this week - he's a mac using student too, but he still can't get it because he's not a US student.
