Is it my imagination, or has the Filter Menu Item just been "disappeared" in CS5? There seems to be no way to "Add Arrowheads (or bullets or anything else)" to a straight line, like you could up to now. I've checked the AI Help and it says "No Items Found".

Arrowheads (including a bullet) have been added to the Stroke palette. :)

But how do you add one at one or both ends of a line? Edit: Ah, I see how to do that, but I still can't add one at both ends facing in opposite directions.

    It's in the Window>Stroke panel

EDIT: sorry, I'm slow at posting. Blue Velvet is ahead.

You have two option fields there, one for the start of the line, one for the end.

I don't see the option fields. Sorry if I'm being dense here.

Christ, I never even noticed it's in the stroke palette! I was looking in the Arrows palette. Silly me! I wasn't paying proper attention to your earlier replies. Thanks. :)

Why the hell they couldn't put that in the Help menu, I don't know.

:D I'll email the invoice over to you in a second. As an Illustrator file. ;)

    Illustrator 5 arrowheads

The arrows are now in the stroke box where you find dashed lines, stroke weight, etc. Under windows menu, select stroke. This sucks as there is now no key command to add arrowheads, and I use them a lot.
