The front page of http://www.system7today.com/ looks fine in Safari, but in any Mozilla-based browser the white space just below the "Believe your eyes" image and right above the news ticker is twice as big as it should be what the ****!??!?

It was originally a <p> tag but then i deleted that and just put in <br><br> and its still there soooo annoying and I can't seem to make the page look correct in all current browsers as well as the old browsers like IE 5 for my actual System 7 users.

OK now it seems I got it (by removing a <font> tag???) but I don't understand why that fixed it oh well. But unrelated but equally frustrating, why does the copyright notice at the bottom of http://main.system7today.com/ spaced so far apart compared to http://forums.system7today.com/

Most likely because you're using two different doctypes.

from main.system7today.com:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">

and from forums.system7today.com:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
