Hi! Great to be here, I'm a new member but long time lurker.

I've finally switched over from PC and Microsoft's plain ugly tonka toy operating system and am not looking back.

I hope to learn much and contribute as much as I can given time.

I'm also a very keen nature / macro photographer and a beginner design artist. :D

    See you around!

    - Question : How do I set myself an avatar, seems that option is not available for me.

Welcome. You should familiarize yourself with the FAQ. You can add an avatar after you make 500 posts.

Click on your user name (to the left of your posts) and then 'view public profile,' and all will be revealed.

Welcome, [Beta Code]. Look around through the various forums here, and you will soon learn what goes where. You'll also discover that there are other photographers here.

    Hey [BetaCode] :)

Your Mac is the exact same Mac as the one I just purchased... Except I got the ATI Radeon 9600 XT, and NO 56k Modem.

Glad to have you here :D ;)

EDIT: Ah there's more changes I have but hey, same processors dude :)

Cool, is there any difference between the PC and Mac edition of ATi video cards? Do I have to have a Mac edition ATi video card for it to work on my mac?

Sadly, yes. The PC versions won't work in a Mac.
