I just recently upgraded to Tiger on my Sawtooth (see sig). Knowing I would see an increase in CPU usage I went ahead and bit the bullet. Well now my Activity Monitor is showing me a Nice process that has been taking up half of my processing speed for the past half hour. What is going on? Is there a way to see what exactly is running this Nice process?

Yeah i think that's what it was. The disk activity was abnormally high, but now it seems like it's done. Tiger actually seems to take less CPU now. Interesting...

Could you imagine Vista running on a six year old PC? Now, could you imagine Vista running faster than Windows XP on a six year old PC?
