wow, there's been a countless amount of times where i'd see a couple people and could pick out who has what playlist shared at a coffee shop. man. so many hot girls listening to good music.

so yes, itunes needs a IM script.

Well, it doesn't have to be stalker-like ...

I for one, would like such functionality so I can tell people that I am going to reboot my computer before I turn off iTunes, as an example.

It would be a great way to find music.
(Ex: Hey, you listen to <random song>? You should also listen to <another random song>...)

It'd be a great way to meet people, and have a basis for talking to them.
(Ex: Hey, you like the music I like! ...)

Of course, without a disable or ignore certain IP/MAC address button, it might turn stalker-like...

Its no different to hooking up with somebody at a concert of an artist you both like lol.

A chat script would be ILL.... especially as when im on my university campus network, I get tons of other libraries popping up... but no way to discuss said music with those people...
