I have a new 20" iMac Duo with 2 gigs of ram. I've been doing a lot of work in Final Cut Studio and read some where that it was possible to take the ram up to 4GB. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Serious if you need more Ram you need more power all round, get a Powermac now or wait for the new Intel ones :)

Yeah, with the money it takes to get 2x2G sticks of ram, you might as well go with a powermac, or the intel ones of course.

Lets see what i could get for the cost of one 2 GB RAM stick-
    a fully loaded MB
almost a MBP, or Powermac G5.
Do they have a ticker of how many of those they have sold? It must be like 2.

$53000 yes $53000. check the site

Edit: sorry thats in AU dollars so in US dollars thats about 38-42000

Isn't the upgrade for a Powermac G5 to 16 GB of RAM like $9000? Why does dell charge more? (falling on hard times maybe...)
