iMac G5 running Tiger 10.4.5.

I just did the create a new admin account and de-mote my original account thing. But now, whenever logging out of one account (even using fast switching thing) the computer 'talks.' It says, "Blah blah account is logging off. Blah Blah account log in. Password." Or er... something like that.

I already checked for both accounts in System Preferences: speech is 'off' and Universal Access voice over is also off.

Suggestions?

maybe the "Use voiceover at login window" is checked under login options in the accounts panel of sys prefs.
