While looking for RAM at various places for my iMac (see sig) i saw advertisements 4 maxing the ram out to 1.25 GB :eek: . is that possible, or useless? that would mean i could get over a gig w/o taking it in for the internal upgrade, plus it would save $. (side note: what would gamers recomend for unreal tourny. 2004??)

I thought the iMacs would only recognize up to 512 MB SO-DIMMS in each slot, thereby restricting the maximum amount of RAM to 1 GHz (even if 1.25 GHz was installed) - but I could be wrong...
