iMac Superdrive Noise

I'm about to buy an iMac but just tonight read on the Apple site about excessive noise and vibration in the superdrives.
Do you have this problem?

have mine since sept, but no such problem. actually my iMac is amazingly quiet.
did they mention when this noise/vibration happens (ie, reading / writing CDs / writing DVDs) ?
