Hey guys, I need a good app that I can use to resize pics and such. That's basically all I need it for. I don't really want to purchase Photoshop just to resize images. I've use GIMP before, but I didn't really like it a whole lot, so if you have any other suggestions, I'd appreciate 'em. I'm looking for freeware or shareware. It doesn't matter to me. I wouldn't care at all to pay for something like this. Thanks in advance.

What about GraphicConverter? Did you check your Applications folder? ;)

Or look at Automator. I have a workflow set up so that when I select it (it's always on my desktop) and start the workflow, I'm asked which photos I'd like to resize, and I can take a large number of photos and resize them all at the same time.

I don't have Graphic Converter installed on here. It might be on my Software Restore disc. I'll do a search for it on VersionTracker in a minute to see if I can find it there first, though.

With Automator, can you specify exactly what you want the dimensions of the picture to be (Example: 1280x960)

Dude, I found GraphicConverter on VersionTracker. It seems to be exactly what I needed. Thanks for the help! :)

You specify the length of the photo, and it automatically scales the height. So if you have a photo that's 1600 x 1200, and you want a photo that's 1024 x 768 pixels, all you have to do is tell Automator that you want the number of pixels to be 1024.

That's cool. I really like GraphicConverter, though, so I'll probably stick with it. Thanks for your help, man.
