    Hey guys!

I am doing a project for school and my group and I were assigned to do a news report. I was wondering if anyone knew how to use iMovie to make a similiar news show. I prefer to add pictures next to the anchor in the corner and have the bars with the hosts' names.

Does anyone know how to do this? Help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you are going to need a few plugins. iMovie doesn't give much flexibility in titling. If you are using iMovie 6, make sure that any plugins you purchase are compatible.

c/fx has some great plugins that are incredibly cheap. Go to

For $1.50 you can get Picture in Clip (static). This will allow you to put a logo or graphic anywhere on the screen. They also have Simple Caption, this allows you to put text any where on the screen. You can put multiple effects on a clip, you just have to render each seperately.

Here is a sample that I made with these plugins: Productions/Evan 2 Wheels.html
