I wanted to take advantage of iMovies HD capabilities without a HD camcorder and insert Hi-Res photos from iPhoto.(just like Apple says)

I opened up a new project but it still says it is DV NTSC. I have no camera hooked up.

Is there a way to select the HD format?

Thanks,

I.

round the corner
When you go to create a new project you should get the choice of format, its in the same message window as when you name the project, from there you can select HD

Keep in mind though that the movie clips won't look as good since they are going into a bigger format then normal

As for the pictures if they are the right resolution then they should appear fine

found it....

I blew right past that one. I tried a few photos they take alot longer to render at HD resolution.

Now...if I only had a new medium to put it on.

Thanks,

I.
