So, the PS3 will be region free and F1 Championship Edition - the game I'm most anticipating - is going to be released in Japan in December. For the rest of the world it will be March '07. Does anyone know where I can import titles like this to the US?

Wonder how long until Sony sues other importers for selling people region free games for a region free console.

It wouldnt stand a chance with the same ruling that passed the other day.

That was an EU law that restricted the importation of grey goods against the manufacturers consent.

Simply by making it's games machine region free for gaming. And then going on record by stating it was officially region free - they dont have any legal leg to stand on if following the same EU ruling.

They could however forbid region coded BluRay movie discs from being imported, but until we see multi-region blurray players (maybe never) that wont be an issue.
