I have 2 episodes of a tv show, that i want to import into iMovie and make 1 disk. The shows are in mpeg format, and for some reason when I import the files, the sound is missing. Anyone ever had this problem?

This is very common. The mpg file that you have is muxed and needs to be de-muxed. Basically, the audio and video needs to be separated from each other first.

    Here's what you'll need.

    1. bbDemux or More Missing Tools - both are freeware, but I've had more success with MMT.

    2. iTunes - to convert the m2a (mpeg audio) file to aiff.

    3. Quicktime Pro - recombine the aiff with the mpg video file.

Check out this link from the Macworld Forums. I've posted some more detail instructions on how to de-mux an mpg file suitable for iMovie.
