hi everybody

I got my new macbook yesterday and of course I want my battery to last some time...

is it true that too many recharge cycles harm the battery?

should I always use the full battery capacity and plug the recharcher only when the battery is empty or should I reload the battery even if I used the macbook only 30 minutes

which technique is better for the battery? How and when do you recharge?

thanks for your time

Just use your battery however is convenient for you. Very small charge/discharge cycles near the maximum aren't great for your battery due to the possibility of overcharging, but OS X knows not to charge your battery if you plug it in when it's above approximately 93-95%.

Just calibrate your battery every few months to give it a full stretch and to make sure it's giving good information to the OS, and you'll be fine.
