I'm still waiting for the opportunity to take a PanAm flight to the space station

Interesting note: I am watching 2010, right this moment.

There are few things in life that I've ever experienced that were truly breathtaking.

Seeing the rendition of the Pan-Am flight to the space station was one of them. I was absolutely stunned at the entire composition, the rotation, the music, the design, all of it.

2001 and Star Wars gave me so much excitement for technology, science, and the future.

Here I sit, in front of a 6x6x2" Mac Mini more powerful than all of the computing available on Earth in the 60's. With 3 24" LCD displays. It's fantastic.

Hopefully we get on the ball, fix the global economy and environment so we can justify spending big on exploration again. :(
