    That is what I would call highly refined Origami. It's amazing how real that the items appear.

    well, it looks to me like they just used a color printer to print out some pictures and taped it together. It honestly doesn't look that impressive to me. If the base is actually round and not flat, that's something, but not as cool as some really complicated oragami.

    I agree with strider42 - I'm not overly impressed. For me, "proper" origami is made by folding a sheet of paper and not cutting it or sticking it. I think this is what I'd call paper sculture, its still clever, but not as good as origami.

    Incidently, did you hear that SKY have secured the exclusive TV rights to next year's Origami world championships? Its going to be on pay-per-view! :D

    well, the author isn't claiming it's origami... i mean, the URL is "paper-craft"...

    i still think it's impressive that he managed to get texture right so that they look like they are not made of paper...
