I have a decent amount of knowledge with regards to using Quark Xpress, and I'm trying to teach myself InDesign. Here's the problem: I'm using InDesign to create a takeout menu for a restaurant, but when I try to import the logo (created in Illustrator), it appears jaggy. I've tried using two methods (copy/paste with clipboard and file>place from InDesign menu bar), with similar results each time. Suggestions?

But it will print fine. What you're probably seeing is the lo-res preview if it's an EPS or PDF... something which you should be well accustomed to in Quark.

Try switching to Menu: View>Display Performance>High Quality Display

Although it will have an adverse impact on InDesign's performance.

Just to double-check, export a press-res PDF from the layout just to see... open it up in Acrobat or Preview at 400% or so and it should be fine.
