I ran an update yesterday for a superdrive firmware upgrade.

Today when inserting a blank disk I get this error message:

You have inserted a disk containing no volumes that Mac OSX can read. To continue withe disk inserted, click ignore.

If I click 'ignore' nothing happens, and i can't see the disc

If I click 'initialize' the disk utility app opens.

    What gives?

Have you tried other blank discs? Do commercial discs work normally when you insert them? :)
