Anyone use gloves to install the shield? Is it better than using bare hands? Any negative effect?

I installed with bare hands, and it went on perfectly. I think using latex would be over cautious. In fact, if they were the powdered kind, they'd likely even make it worse if the powder got underneath the shield.

Can you say overkill? If they're the purple ones that doctors use I guess it would be okay, don't want to get that powder on you ipod! Unless the purple ones have that powder too...

I should have been more careful while applying my invisible shield to my black iPod Nano. I ended up getting fingerprints on the sticky part of the film and now I have them on there permanently. I should have checked the directions before using...:(

The directions tell you to use latex gloves?

    Weird.
