Let's start with what I have,

2011 MacBook Pro 13" i5

I burned the ISO of the x64 version to a dvd+r. I opened boot camp and went through the prompts. I installed the stuff it told me to on a usb drive. I set the partition to 50 gigs. My MacBook eventually restarted and got stuck at the screen with the blue windows. I left it for 20 minutes and it still did nothing so I'm wondering what I did wrong.

I don't know what the issue is, but I'd wager that the Bootcamp software isn't compatible with Win 10 yet. Maybe installing 7 or 8 and then upgrading to 10 would work better.
