Installing Vista from an external CD Drive

Hi,
I have Windows Vista Installer in CD (5 CD's)
I have connected an external USB CD-RW Drive.
I have created the partition using boot camp and when i select "Start Windows Installer", the system reboots, and hangs... it doesn't recognise my USB external CD drive. How to enable that?
Can anyone help me out?
