Intel trade ?

    Is it possible to trade your old mac for a new intel one ?

    As silly as that sounds...I know that in the NW there are a couple of resellers that will give you trade-in-value on your "whatever-mac-you-have" on any products in the store.

    That being written, you can often get more money for the computer on the open market and then take the cash to the Apple store of your choice. If you're a student (like my significant other) you can then get an education discount and end up with a pretty good deal in the end.

    Depending on the condition, you can always sell it since macs keep their value quite well. Then purchase whatever you want. Unfortunately, you can't trade it in with apple:p

    I think you'd be better off ebaying your current Mac and then taking the proceeds towards a new Mac. You might end up Mac-less for a couple days (like me! oy!) but in the end it should be worth it. :D
