internet connect and other system prefs

i'm reinstalling clean and i'm wondering where os x keeps the internet connect information, i travel a lot and use differen settings for dial up and have them all set up, how can i back that info up?

if anyone knows where i can get the backup files for my internet connect settings, or any of the system preferences that would be extremely helpful

Not 100% sure. I think that it's in /Library/Preferences/. At least when you do an Archive & Install (preserving Users & Networking), that directory is automagically copied back to the file system root.

yeah i thought so too, i tried dragging over the systempref.plist but it didn't work
